For those of you who don't know me, I'm Haley Harmon and I am from Crawfordsville, IN. This is my first year at IUPUI, but I am a sophomore. I transferred from Butler University this past fall.
Here are some things you should know about me:
-My favorite color is purple.
-I have a dog. He's a boxer/lab mix named Goliath.
-I am majoring in secondary English education with a music minor in musical theater.
-My biggest pet peeves are 1. people who use handicap automatic entryways...when they aren't handicapped and 2. when the bottoms of your jeans get soaked while you're walking on a rainy day.
-I love to bake.

-If I could have any job in the world, it would be at Dunder Mifflin---however, since this is a fictional office, teaching will have to do.
-I could live off of my mom's homemade cheesy braut stew and McDonald's sweet tea.
-I am a worry-wart.
-My "nice" wardrobe is very Pam Beesly inspired.

When it came to making this blog, I didn't have any major problems. The directions were step-by-step and pretty self-explanatory. However, my advice to any classmate would be to give yourself plenty of time to create each entry. I'm by no means a perfectionist, but just in case something every goes wrong with websites, I always like to give myself plenty of time to complete assignments.
Oh that's funny! The handicap access doors is my pet peeve too! Quit wasting energy and being a lazy bum and open the door for yourself! Now, if they are already activated, I will go through. :)

ReplyDeleteGreat blog!!! =) I hate to admit it, but I am one of those people that use the automatic doors as opposed to the the manual one... I work in the medical field and I know the kind of "funk" that is on those handles... yuck!!! Sorry...
ReplyDeleteThere are a number of people in this class that like purple, myself included. I have noticed that a lot of people at IUPUI use the automatic doors. I agree people need to stop being lazy. I also love to bake and eat. The food looks very good in your powerpoint
ReplyDeleteWe have many things in common. I love mcdonalds sweet tea. I could probably say that i am addicted to it. Labs are my favorite dogs even though i dont have one yet, many of my family members have them and so do friends. But our main thing of interest is that my favorite color is purple to! I have so many shirts that are purple and i love it. I need to stop being lazy and not hit the emergency door everytime i walk by but its so hard not to when your in a hurry or have a lot of books.
